Atlanta Metro Food & Farm Network, (AM-FFN) is a social enterprise program of ECO-Action Inc that provides experienced urban agriculture planning, development and installation services for farm projects in the metro-Atlanta area. We do this by bringing together individuals, organized civic groups, local institutions, governmental bodies and industry experts to create successful local food projects that are integrated within local communities. We strive to create neighborhood based food systems to increase food security in Atlanta communities.
We Work With
- People – households, neighborhoods, and regional communities
- Civic Groups – block clubs, neighborhoods associations, Neighborhood Planning Units (NPUs), and the Atlanta Planning & Advisory Board (APAB)
- Institutions – schools, churches, community businesses, colleges, multi-family properties, etc
- Governments – Mayor’s Office, City Council, Atlanta Public Schools, County Commissioner Boards, the Atlanta Regional Commission, State & Federal agencies
Our focus market is the ten-county Atlanta metropolitan area as determined by the Atlanta Regional Commission, with a particular emphasis on the neighborhoods and communities of South-West Atlanta.
